The Senior Mahajans of this Devasthan in their large heartedness felt that the poor and down trodden, the sick, the suffering widows and the poor who were unable to do routine rituals such as thread ceremony (Munj) needed to be helped. They also decided to help the wards of some unfortunate amongst us towards their education and health. Indeed with this noble idea in mind Shri Ramnath Devasthan Charities Trust with the support and encouragement from our benevolent Mahajans/ Kulavis with a bare minimum nucleus of Rs. 3,000/- marched forward and achieved a lot.

Since the year 1987 Shri Ramnath Devasthan Charities Trust has been performing Sarvajanik Yadnopavit Dharan (Munj) ceremony at the Ramnath Devasthan Temple premises in Ramnath Hall in the month of April / May. Since the year 2022, these rituals are being carried out by Shri Ramnath Devasthan due to administrative constrains. Quite often the batus have had the good fortune of being blessed by H. H. Vidyadhiraj Teerth Swamiji.
The cost of religious ceremony, purohit, overnight stay at the temple, meals to relatives of the batu  is borne by the Devasthan. As of now more than 350 Yadnopavit Dharan (Munj) Ceremonies have been performed. On many occasions our Devasthan Purohits have also conducted religious orientation programme for the Batus.
